Devils, demon, and demons beast are the creatures from underground/underworld, but they're different just like how human, magical beast, and vicious beast are different. The blood inside SYX--I believe--is from a devil, not a demon. And I agree that her interaction with the power of Devil's God were too brief and disturbed by too many "noises" (human's magical and dou qi power, elves' life force, magical beast's energy, and demon's dark element) to wake her devil blood. In addition, Xiu always absorbs the dark elements around her for his cultivation. So, she only has been interacted with controlled amount of dark element/energy that wouldn't wake her devil blood.
