If I have to guess...1. Kher didn't let SYX chopped Luoqiu's back just because he didn't know what's going on and he tried to pacify both side.2. Kher didn't punish Luoqiu for (indirectly) attacking SYX's students out of his personal animosity towards her. SYX (and apparently those commentators) didn't care what the implications of "punishing Luoqiu who has deep foundation in the academy and the top mentor in the academy" are for the academy itself (because it's an academy for undead a.k.a the enemy).Read more3. Because Kher tried for mediation but he still didn't punish Luoqiu. So, even if he's on SYX's side afterwards, it seems too "hypocrite" (useless).4. Because Kher doesn't believe she can train a group of average students to beat the group of top students even after he witnessed the progress of her class. So, he tried to dissuade and discourage SYX.
