I mean, if QJ really died, Satan would be furious at Gui Jiang et al. and whatever the outcome of that would be bad for the devil army as a whole force. If Satan kept them, they'd be at extreme odd with the old generals. If he didn't keep them, the new generals wouldn't be as powerful as Gui Jiang and co. Moreover, he would also punished Yan Di and co. Even though they'd be healed before the war happened, it has the same effect compared to the best results she's hoping for.
