I read GDBBM before this novel and now I have complicated feelings about wuyao/satan. even though he didn't do anything wrong in GDBBM, it still can't erase the traces of his cruelty in his previous life. If I were in SYX's position, I will still have hatred for him even though he is different person. and I would never be able to accept Wuyao being with my best friend (JWX)

It may be just habits to seek anything funny when the situation is going down hill. Now, I feel low because of the situation in these two chapters. But, I get a laugh when I read about how the baby caressed the rabbit because a normal two years old tend to grab/hug the furry animals so tightly to the point of choking it (and successfully earned a bite or scratched by claws because of it). I'm so glad that the baby was "sensible" enough to caress it rather than "hugging" it. π
