Yes, but the family was predicated on lies and mistaken identities. Remember, Liulang and Old Chief knew who she was the whole time. Others also let things go for quite a while before these guys took action. Rather than tearing the family apart, it may give them a chance to find a way to be together in a new (more honest) way.

It's going to be complicated, but I think she'll retain her memories of her time as Grandaunt and things may change for the icy Empress Dowager going forward. At least, I hope so. She has a warm family to go back to, anyway.
