Souya being good at cooking and business reminds me of another Iseka protagonist: Naofumi from Tate no Yusha, although it is a common trope that many isekai protagonists are good at making food. There is definitely a trap with the slaves, and the conditions seem to indicate that it is certain that Libera's company wants to use the other companies as a shield / guardian for something
