I think the main reason is she's written as a GTB and the Marquis is equally unlikeable. Either way, if the arch was handled well, then they could be close like some other stories out there. The issue is her identity hinges on GJ's opposite. She's the contrast character

I agree that it would be nice if we could have a family with adopted siblings and reduced enmity and no one having to be a villain or villainess. Also yeah would be nice if multiple girls in the family can be loved, but also I do understand the dislike at this moment. Intentionally or not, her actions nearly killed the baby boy. Most people watching would be unhappy with her at least for a while. At least till she can prove she can hold a newborn without dropping them.Tbh, when holding very young children and babies, I never dared to do so unless I was sitting down or near or on top of soft surfaces out of terror that I might accidentally drop the baby.

I don’t like how the author has the make jinyu the Bain of everyone’s existence. Also the overarching theme is loving children despite no blood relation not Jinyu gets no grace because in Chinese novels only one girl can be loved at a time in the family.

It would have been nice if she had a Real change of character which isn't the case hère. I read other stories where such a character really changes and gets among with their sister.

Partially, she a misunderstood major clutz who's got helpful intentions, but is a little ditzy. If she stopped rushing to "help" everywhere when she hasn't learned the skills to, she wouldn't be such a disaster. She needs to show down and learn real life skills. At this point she spent her life learning how to be a perfect rich young lady and nothing else.
